Seatle

At the beginning of April we celebrated our 7th wedding anniv. but due to our schedules we weren't able to do anything until the end of the month. This year we decided to go somewhere new, Seattle. Aside from fighting the flu and a toothache, we had an amazing time. The first day we were there I was in bed till 3 with the flu and then finally got  a small bit of energy and said if I don't get up and use it I am going to be so sad. So we decided to try and take a "small" walk that turned in to a 4 mile walk I think. We walked to Pike Place Market!!! So much fun. I could stay there all day and watch that place!
While walking back to our hotel we ended up getting on a harbor cruise. It took us through the harbor and gave us so much history. It was a lot of fun.
The next day we went to Snoqualmie Falls. It was fun but they have all the visitor areas under construction so we didn't get to see much but it was a beautiful drive!

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom. They are beautiful.

The tulips and flowers at Pike's are amazing. I would have loved to bring some home.
Us on our Locke Tour Cruise. This boat cruise took us up to the Locke's and then through the lakes. It was interesting to see how it all works.
This draw bridge was fun to see. Lots of trains go over this. It almost always has a train on it. It also has to go up a lot to let big boats in and out.

This is us pulling into the Locke's.
Notice how high up we have come?
And us pulling away from the Locke's.

The next day we decided to walk down to the light house. It was a beautiful walk but a long one. It was about 3 miles round trip. I swear I have never seen so many stairs in one city. Everywhere we turned there was more stairs. This place was no exception. Here we are on a nature hike and there are stairs!!

Mike at dinner in the space needle.
The view was amazing!!!
Happy 7th Anniversary!!! I love you so much.
The sunset was amazing!!!!!
